Stanleys English Academy, in collaboration with LAREDA Institute of Skill Development, offers a Professional Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Council for Open and Distance Learning and accredited by the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), Norway. The course is open to candidates with any bachelor’s degree, has a duration of one year (two semesters), and is available through both online and offline modes of study. The curriculum covers key areas such as Teacher in Emerging Indian Society, Development of Learner and Teaching-Learning Process, Educational System in India, Guidance and Counselling, Educational Psychology, Environmental Education, Assessment of Learning, Educational Technology and Management, Micro Teaching, Work Experience, and an elective teaching subject. In addition, students receive specialized training in grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, communication skills, and teaching confidence. Weekly contact classes are conducted by qualified teachers and professors from India and abroad. Students also undergo a school internship during the final month of the second semester and receive placement guidance upon successful completion of the course.
